Honestly, I was super skeptical about these when I opened them up. They are light weight, a little suspiciously flimsy, and the hinges are a bit weak BUT this thing is fantastically bright! I live in a rural area and walk the dogs at night. It is creepy to not see goI’d on the trail. The settings allow me to see up ahead on and around me. The direct beam goes way up ahead. I also use them around my property to take care of animals at night, check water, etc. they are great. My husband loves his and was glad it came with two. And I Love the fact I can recharge them, no batteries!! For the price, it’s worth it. I’ll be buying another set.
Wow! First, l was lucky enough (and very stupid) to experience the brightness immediately after pressing the button well I had it pointed at my face..lol. Trust me when I tell you it is definitely bright enough!
My son likes to go for runs in the dark and was carrying a flashlight until I bought this for him. He said it was absolutely perfect and the tilt feature was convenient so he didn't have to tip his head down to see where he was going. He said he didn't even need it on the brightest setting and could view the entire road without fear of stumbling over anything.
These lights are quite powerful also... every setting can actually hurt your eyes if you catch the beam to the face. You have to be careful with these things, or you'll easily temporarily blind somebody. My s/o regularly blinds me when she's wearing hers. The motion sensor on/off is good, however it can be tricky to keep it on that setting as ANY motion in front of it will turn it on or off. For example, turning your head with any object in front of you is enough to trigger the light. It would be nicer if this were somehow less sensitive to motion, and required a very deliberate wave of the hand only. It functions, perhaps TOO well.
I've since purchased another set of these for coworkers who seem to really like them, and the only gripe seems to be a shared one: that it'd be better if the charge lasted longer. However the fact of the matter is that at this price you just can't beat these, and charging is far less an inconvenience than tracking down replacement batteries. Lots of utility. Very happy with these headlamps. Would buy again. They are now an essential for our day to day lives.
These are bright and should not be shone directly in any one's eyes. I have since used these fro working on my car, under the sink and my wife has used it for her night time jog. They are light weight and did I mention that they are bright!!!! I would highly recommend these for any headlight required situation.
When I first turned it on, like a dope I was looking right at the light not expecting it to melt out my eyeballs! These things are wonderfully bright! I frequently have to run out at night and there are times when you need both hands, like to open a gate, carry food or whatever? So dopey move number 2,... I walked some food over to a neighbor and although I've walked this short course before, I didn't grab the headlamp or flashlight. Well the kids had moved a boulder into the walkway, I cracked my shins across the side of the boulder, did a face plant from the 6'3" nosebleed section, dropped the food all over and made a real mess! Needless to say, Every Time since then, I use this headlamp. Nice bright first beam, slightly dimmer second beam, 3rd a warm glow that covers the area well, a red light, and a flashing red light... Probably for the next time I do something stupid and not pay attention to my surrounding. Then I can lay there and the kids can rescue me when they see the flashing red light! For the price, features and functions, you can't beat these things. Great for my "Go" bags too. I'll be buying them again for other emergency stashes. You can't miss with this one. Hope this helps. -Mike
Super bright headlamps with tons of options! First, the value can't be beat. I thought we'd be getting some cheap headlamps because of the price, but these blow my professional headlamp away, and I love that I don't have to worry about replacing batteries. I just plug them in when I'm driving or we use a battery pack to recharge and they've last us up to a week on a single charge.
Really like these little headlamps. Have a nice LED charge indicator, multiple settings for light output, the “wave” feature to turn them on and off that I surprisingly use all the time, and overall seem well built for the price. Bright mode is crazy bright and the other settings are perfect for when you don’t want to give yourself a sun tan. Market is flooded with similar headlamps, but this brand/model ticked all the boxes for me and at a more than reasonable price for what you get. I’ve had tons of various brands over the years and these are the brightest and most well built I’ve had so far. I use them for tons of various tasks like strapping them to my paint gun cups, camping, fishing, working under vehicles, etc. Will definitely be grabbing a few more after having tried these.
Received the headlamp on time, packaged well, on time and in perfect condition. Very bright, so don’t turn it on while looking at it! The headband fits comfortably and the several lighting modes work well. I’m using these to light the way in my attic while running Ethernet cabling to several areas in my house. Much better than holding my phone in my hand as a flashlight. The charge lasts pretty long, I run out of energy before the headlamp does. The motion detection works fine. I would imagine that to be useful if you’re using the flashlight part detached from the headband as a type of warning or lighting aid or to turn it off and on. It’s also nice to have two of them. I keep one in my car and for marathon jobs nice to have one charging up. All in all a solid product and reasonably priced.
This light was great! Just got back from camping in Mammoth and used it every night for 5 nights and it died on the last night. Thank fully its an easy microUSB charge. Its bright enough to go around with and be comfortable taking a night bike ride or walking around the campsite in pitch black. Took a bike ride and it did well to illuminate the area, not compared to headlights but I felt confident avoiding pot holes and ditches. The red light was nice when I needed some illumination but did not want to wake anyone and it did not kill my night vision. The motion sensor I can see has its uses but I mainly use this to work on my car at night or when I'm underneath and getting close to car parts it just shuts off. Kind of annoying but again I can see the potential. Again, great light for the price and it was super comfortable to wear.
Used the light for the first time this weekend. The light is very bright, but with a consequence of a short battery life when using it. The light didn't make 2 evennings of use on the full brightness. Thus, you should either charge it each night or use a dimmer setting. I light the idea of a very bright light and it may be brighter than others, so I don't really view this issue as a negative - just know your product. The brightest setting is more than enough to light a dark path. The motion sensor is cool in concept, but may be limited in practice. Don't use it if you are doing stuff, like cooking or in a tent. Every object that appears within 2-3 feet of the sensor will trigger the auto shut off. For example, a rake handle while raking set it on and off.
I really like the side lighting this headlamp provides. I have a Norfolk terrier who we should have named "Hoover" because he eats any roadside paper, cardboard, plastic and even solid items people throw out on the street or leave in their stacks of leaves. He had to undergo emergency surgery once for an intestinal obstruction for one such item. With my old headlamp I had to aim it right and left and up and down to see what was available, now I can walk along confident that I will spot trouble well before "Hoover" can vacuum it up. The hand -wave really works in turning it on and off. I cannot yet speak to battery life/durability--but for the price this was a great deal.
Got my headlamps today. Light and very bright all functions are very useful, tried the handsfree and it works amazing for the size and price. For battery life I cant say anything yet but being rechargeable is the reason I bought this for so hopefully it will give me atleast 2 or more hours of light which that depends on which mode Im gonna use. I will review this again after my 4days overlanding trip.
Very convenient. Cool lantern. Bright light. I recommend to everyone.
We got this product because we like to hike and be outdoors and wanted to have a source of light without using our phones or needing batteries. We came across these which seemed to be a great value for a set of two that also happened to be rechargeable via micro USB. They arrived with a bit of charge and were much brighter than we expected. They also have several different light settings which are convenient to have when you don't need to have all the lights on at once. So far we have used them to go camping and have found that they provide a wide range of light and last for several hours of use. To completely charge they only take a few hours so we try to charge them as soon as we get back to make sure they are fully charged for the next time around.
I love the light. It's very bright on high and the COB setting gives a nice even soft light over a very wide area. I'm not sure about the built in batteries yet because I cannot carry spares for when it goes dead out in the woods, and I'm not sure yet how long it will last on a charge. For me, all the different settings are a bit overkill but not a problem except you have to cycle through them all. Still evaluating the motion detector mode - that might be my preferred setting, time will tell. It is comfortable to wear and a nice size.
I've tried several different headlamps for jogging. I've gone from too many battery changes required to not bright enough to wires pulled out causing lamp to fail...and finally this one: nicely bright, small size, comfortable, reliable, and batteries that recharge quickly and stay bright for a decent interval. Even though some other headlamps are a little brighter, their disadvantages outweigh their good points. I'm very satisfied with this light.
I bought these lights for my dad to use for working in dark places. Under the house and under the hood of his car specifically. He was very excited when opened the box, there are 2 in the package which means if he runs out of battery when a project goes long he has a back up. He charged and checked out the headlamps out when it got dark. He loved how bright they are. He is not a small guy, these fits his large head easily and comfortably. These were a great choice to meet all my dad's needs and wants in a headlamp for doing handy work.
The brightness is so bright it's blinding!!! Do not shine it on someone's face they'll be seeing spots!!! The lumens is strong and the motion sensor is a great feature. I purchased this especially since it is rechargeable. The levels of brightness is amazing. The red light lets me see at night without being overly bright. Battery life is also pretty good. Bought it for camping and working Around the house and needing to use both hands. Brightness is intense!! Better than a handheld flashlight.

These are the best headlamps ever! I purchased these a while back for my family to use, since at this time of year they harvest garlic at very early hours in the morning, in the dark, no light agricultural fields. Up until now they are holding up very well. No breaks or tears on the band. They are made of durable plastic and the battery life lasts about 5 hours on full charge. They come with their chargers as shown in thr picture. I have uploaded a picture and video. The long range of the light is very far, I'd say about 20ft or more, I also recorded the sensor lights function. I could have recorded the light farther but I didn't want to flash lights randomly in my neighborhood. In the video you can see the different variety of interchangeable setting on the headlamp. Overall these are great no doubt. I certainly plan on purchasing again!
